The Denon DN-T625 is a professional CD player
and cassette player/recorder housed in a single
3RU rack-mount chassis. It is the successor to the
popular DN-T620 and includes many new feature
enhancements for professional applications, including
RS-232C serial control, CD-RW playback, shock
memory, Dolby C noise reduction, CD text and split
level mono XLR output for input level matching to
mixing boards.
Designed for churches, schools, restaurants and a
variety of other music-source applications, the DNT625
allows users to create their own recordings
from disc to cassette, or mix sounds from both
sources. When combined with a mixer, sounds
from a CD and microphone can be mixed and
recorded to the cassette deck. This option is
perfect for custom-made background music
or pre-recorded announcements.
Functions on the CD player include a variable pitch
of ±12% of playback speed, A-B Repeat mode,
Single/Continuous Playback mode and a Back Cue
feature. A Rotary Control Knob allows for quick track
access as it offers 1x/10x control. Digital SPDIF output
has been added to the array of back panel connectors
along with sync and cascade control for use
with multiple DN-T625 units. Digital servo adjustment
for the unit's CD player has been automated so
that the optimum setting is always obtained for the
type of CD being played, compensating for any
changes occurring in the pickup over years of use.
