A nice condition original example of the card-cased 1965 EMI UK reel to reel 3 & 3/4 ips mono tape release of "Help!" by The Beatles complete with the  "Emitape" leaflet , the packing/warranty slip and the small circular green and gold Parlophone sticker still to the spool. Cat No TA-PMC-1255. Released at the same time as the vinyl album in 1965

Played throughout both sides and is fine.

Clean case -  intact and unbroken spool, printed white Part 1 leader tape and red trailing Part 2 leader tape, no pen markings/writing. Rare purchases in comparison to the vinyl LP in the 1960s, usually by audiophiles wanting top quality sound. Often ordered by the customer by special order, as some retailers did not stock them. Please see all photographs.

Emitape leaflet and packing slip excellent. Pink star tax code identifier to base which was stamped there by EMI when the tape was returned to the factory under the then usual "sale or return" basis. A sign that few were sold in comparison to the vinyl album.

Glorious mono can be played on four track stereo tape recorders as well as twin track machines. It is a pleasure to listen to the Beatles albums without the pop, crackle and hiss of the vinyl format.
