This is a unique Pavan rounded edge trowel with the only machined beveled edges in the world. It is only to be used with smooth FILTERED Plasters, Waxes. and Faux products. In other words filtered smooth finishes. If you decide to use it on an unfiltered larger grain plasters, you WILL ruin the beveled edge. Many skilled wall artisan will use 2 of these blades one is taped on the handle for unfiltered plasters and one is used as a finishing trowel. If you need a trowel for Marmorino (large grain) type finishes then a straight edge blade may be used.
