Alba "AKA" Bullhead
V707-0A20
Serial number dates this to July 1997.

Up for grabs is a very rare beast; a fully boxed and original Alba "Bullhead" with blue dial.

Please note, this is not a true Bullhead as it doesn't have the two chrono pushers on the top - this is more of a canteen style case, but  "Bullhead" seems to have become the informal name given to watches with the crown on the top.

This was a 1990's release (never released in the UK) and made in very limited numbers.
As far as I'm aware this was made in three colours, Blue, Silver and a dark brown.
The blue dial is by far the hardest to find from an already sought after range.

CASE:
Stainless steel strap and case-back with base-metal body.
Horse-shoe shaped with highly polished sides and deep brushed bottom section.
Crown at 12 position.
Thick, toughened mineral glass (slightly domed).

BRACELET:
18mm hooded / hidden lugs which take a regular springbar.
Original steel AKA bracelet fitted.
6-hole fold over clasp with tight "snap" fastening.
Sized for an 8.00" wrist so a really good size.

DIAL:
Metallic blue dial with red and yellow detail.
Rally style lay-out with second track and 5 minute markers on outer dial.
24 hour markers just inside the hour batons.
White hands.
Steel hour batons.

MOVEMENT:
This runs the Seiko V707 calibre.
Classic analogue movement with sub-second dial.
New battery fitted and it's running perfectly.

CONDITION:
Very good. In fact the best one I've handled.
There is very minor wear visible on the high polished sides of the case.
General light wear on the bracelet and clasp.
The glass is near perfect, just a tiny pin-prick near the centre (not visible).

As you can see this comes with the original box, which is a little creased but still a rare thing to have.

Thanks for looking
