A very large archaistic nephrite jade Cicada.

This is the largest jade cicada I have ever seen. One picture shows it with a standard Chinese burial cicada to give you an idea.(the small cicada is not included in this sale)

It has traces of vermillion or ochre  and a beautiful patina with some opalescence.

This is a one of a kind collectors or museum item. I enclose pictures of all details because it is difficult to describe.

11 inches (28 cm) long, very heavy, has a brocade box for save keeping.
