Manufactured in Japan, this Genuine Seiko has a classic style about it and would look great on both casual and formal occasions.
The watch is in good vintage condition. The crystal is clean & clear with no marks or scratches at all and it has an excellent replacement white face with very clean silver hands and hour markers. The polished stainless steel case is in excellent condition with almost no signs of it's age. It is fitted with a new, good quality brown leather strap which sets the watch off beautifully. The 17 jewel automatic mechanism works well with a lovely sweep hand and day/date window at the 3 o'clock position.
For those interested in the details, it has Seiko's excellent 6309 17 jewel automatic movement with diashock jewel mounts and the 510A polished stainless steel octagonal case. The serial number is 001580 meaning that it was manufactured in October 1980 making it 37 years old this year, and very definitely a real retro item
Although a vintage watch, it looks very modern while retaining it's character.
