Beautiful Leica Summarit M-Mount 35mm F2.5 lens.  Glass is in perfect condition.  Recently checked by a specialist, he confirmed that it is in great working condition both optically and mechanically.  Barrel movement is smooth and accurate, lens is free of haze, mold, fungus or cleaning marks. As you can see in the pictures there are some marks and scuffs on the filter thread which does not affect mounting filters.  This lens is sharp and outstanding. Fully optically corrected. Many reports indicate that it is exactly the same as the "new" summarit version, only that Leica in its infinite wisdom decided to omit the "aspherical" description in order to avoid cannibalizing the sales of their summicron 35. This is one of the best in the Leica 35mm modern lenses. This lens is perfect both for film and digital rangefinders and it is 6-bit coded for the Digital Leicas.  It is also a good fit for your other mirrorless digital cameras via the proper adapter.
