A near mint and very rare condition 14k gold topped Swiss Omega Memoatic alarm wrist watch. The watch ticking away strongly and keeping excellent time indeed, and just cleaned and overhauled by my watch-maker. This is guaranteed to be a genuine Omega Mematic watch, dating from 1970. The watch is in full working order and comes complete with a presentation box.

THE DIAL: 97% mint, the original two-tone satin gold dial and baton markers and signed "Omega SeaMaster Memomatic", and in bright condition, with a fine scratch at 9-11. Dial with gold dauphine hands and centre seconds. The dial with a hand with two-bar alarm indicator to end. Diameter is 33 mm. The new Omega crystal is also in excellent condition.

THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with silvered and patterned plates and finely engraved balance cock. A shiny blued steel Bosely regulator, and ruby endstone setting, blue steel screws. A cut two arm bimetallic balance, with overcoiled hairspring. The movement working very well indeed and fully signed Omega, the model with 19 jewels and number of 37,xxx,xxx. The watch with its original gilt metal Omega winding crown.

THE ALARM: 100% mint, this is wound and set by the single upper original  button and is in perfect working order and makes a delightful sound when set and used.  The watch is much brighter and  crisp than in these dark photos, which are limited by my camera and lighting equiment.  The watch is in very good working order for its age. Winding in an upwards direction winds up the alarm mainspring, which is in fine order

THE CASE: 97% mint, the 14k gold topped two-piece case measures 43 x 44 mm diamensions. The rear cover screws on nice and tightly as shown. The case with minor wear at high high points. The case number of 166,xxx dates this to the production year of 1974. A The case stamped "Omega", also stamped to outside of case , with SeaMaster logo. The watch comes with a new leather watch band and blue leatherette covered presentation box.

This is a very fine men's Omega Memomatci Alarm wrist-watch in simply stunning condition, which is a collectable item or a possible investment for the future or of course a fine gift for a birthday, anniversary, wedding etc.
