VINTAGE GRAFLEX SUPER GRAPHIC
4X5 CAMERA WITH 135MM OPTAR LENS

Up for auction is a vintage Graflex Super Graphic camera made between 1958 and 1973.  It was the last version of the 4x5 camera that Graflex made.  The camera has a 135 mm Graflex Optar lens with an aperture min/max of 4.7/32.  The shutter has speeds from "T" (Time) to 1/400s.  The camera has a rugged all metal body.  An automatic focusing dial on the top of the body points to the suggested focusing distance and aperture value as a function of related flash guide numbers.  The camera also has an electric shutter release (first of its kind in a large format camera), but it rarely works in these old cameras (most people use a cable release).  The camera uses 4x5 film.  I've read that you can also take Polaroid photos with this camera using a special back attachment.  I purchased this vintage camera at a recent estate sale.

Condition of this Graflex Graphic camera is GOOD.  It's obviously been used quite a bit.  Functionally, I believe it works properly, except for the electronic shutter release (untested but rarely works).  When tested with the manual shutter release, the shutter functions correctly at all speeds.  The bellows appear to be in good shape with no noticeable holes or cracks.  The lens doesn't have any scratches or fungus that I can see.  The rear inside of the camera has a few small spots of oxidation.

Overall, this camera displays nicely and would make a nice addition to any collection.  Please take a look at the many photos I've provided and judge condition for yourself.  Please keep in mind that I am NOT a collector or camera expert.  I've never used this camera and wouldn't know how.  As a result, I'm selling this camera as a vintage collectible, and can not guarantee that it's 100% functional.  It appears to work OK, but I can't guarantee it.

If you're in the market for a vintage Graflex 4x5 camera camera, don't miss your opportunity to bid on this offering.  My start price of only $9.99 (WITH NO RESERVE) is a ridiculous bargain and intended to spark interest.  So bid now while the price is right and check back often.  This camera WILL be sold to the highest bidder!
