This camera is in very fine condition, rare to find cameras as clean as this these days.

The Minolta SRT 100X is the last generation of Minolta’s SRT series; it’s now a classic camera. The SRT 100X features a top shutter speed on a 1000/s to 1s and B. The focal plane shutter horizontal travel rubberised material plus the CLC metering is TTL.

The camera is wonderfully made, fully mechanical mechanism housed in a brass body, this is the quality cameras were made to, the satin chrome finish made in Japan.

Minolta made some superb optics and there is a wide range of lenses available from wide angle, portrait, and telephoto as well as the more specialist lenses such as macro and fast lenses like the 58mm f1.2.

There are other makers of lenses from third party sources, sigma, Tamron, vivitar ect.

The mount is the Minolta MD.

The lens attached is the very sharp 50mm F2, great for a variety of work, portraiture, and landscape, abstract. Fine in low light conditions.

The camera SRT 100X is ideal as a collector’s item, ready and capable of use either from an enthusiast’s level or ideal for the student.

The great thing about cameras like this is they are mechanical and it’s you and the machine, no advanced electronics, simple TTL light meter.
