The watch is a geunine 1974 Rolex and a rare find as such with original and finely toned dial. It is quite exceptional to find a 35 year old Rolex in such superb condition. The watch has just been fully overhauled and cleaned by my watch-maker and is keeping excellent time.

THE DIAL: 100% mint, the original grained satin silver dial with baton markers, signed Tudor Prince OysterDate, self-winding to centre. Dial with very fine and original silver hands with centre seconds and date. Diameter is 28 mm. The crystal is also in excellent condition. The dial looks a tiny bit hazy due to reflections from the crystal but is in fact perfect...
THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with polished and highly reflective steel plates and finely engraved balance cock. A shiny blued steel Bosely regulator, and ruby endstone setting, blue steel screws. With original patented super balance, with overcoiled hairspring. The movement with 25 jewels and a calibre 2484 with centre seconds and shock resisting jewelling to the balance staff. The plates in very fine condition, with the rhodium plating in excellent order. The original steel Oyster stamped winding crown in fine condition. The winding button screws down tightly onto the case post and the threads are in perfect condition. The movement also with number, 586,xxx and in crisp and very good order.
THE CASE: 100% mint, the stainless steel case measures an impressive 29 mm x 36 mm. The fancy solid gold front cover is excellent and the watch with a screw on stainless steel rear cover. The case with screw in bubble back cover and serrated edge which screws in tightly with a new rubber sealing washer. The serrated edge to rear cover in fine order, with wear in one place and a few scratches to rear cover as shown. The case with case number 7966/0 and movement number 586,xxx and with Montres Tudor S.A. case. The case further stamped 6 74 F. The screw in original steel Oyster crown fully marked and working perfectly. The rear cover inscribed Rolex Geneve Original Oyster Case and monogram to centre.
THE BOX: 100% mint, the watch on a new leather watch band, and this comes with a new quality leatherette presentation box.
