Beautiful 17th century Holy Koran. This Holy Quran was hand written by Mohamed El Fakin and it was written on the month of Moharam. It was written in the Muslim calender year of approximately 1086 Hijar. It is about 345 years old. There is some damage on the Paisely Cover but it is mostly due to age.  The book cover seems to be a paisley shawl cover and it is a hard back. The pages are in very good condition. The whole book is hand written with black ink and designed with amazing real gold gild, and other colored inks such as blues, greens, and reds. The  Holy Quran is just amazing. The size of the quran is  4 7/8 inches by 7 1/2 inches. There are exactly 152 pages/ 304 page side in the Quran that have writting on the on both sides. The Old Holy Quran pages have been sold for more then $1500.00. The following information was giving to us by an expert on Islamic Arts. This Quran is estimated to be completed in 11 1/2 years. The entire quran is hand written and its Manuscript. It has unbelievable workmenship, and the fine fine writing. It has real gold writtin inside. It is in very good condition, the gold, and the hand writing.This quran is in 100% Excellent condition for the age of this quran. I usually see them teared, or sold by parts. The paper is made out of papyrus we believe. We dont know exactly if this Quran is fully completed or maybe missing pages, but to the beginning to the end it seems completed, but were not sure.
