La première partie de l'existence de la revue se déroule sous le
titre "Paris Hollywod" elle est alors plus consacrée au cinéma,
avec des couvertures en hélio extraordinaires et un intérieur
aussi somptueux. Les premiers numéros ne sont pas datés, le
nº000 s'appelle Paris Hollywood, sous titré : Stars et vedettes
(par la suite la revue Stars et vedettes deviendra une
concurrente
avec ses posters de pin up dessinées par Brenot). S'orientant
vers le "charme" la revue continuera son existence (elle
existera de 1947 à 1973) sous le titre "Les beautés de Paris et
de Hollywood", pour finir sous celui de "Les folies de Paris et
de Hollywood". On y croisera les meilleurs photographes de
charme du moment : Serges Jacques et autres, Betty Page y
figurera. Les pin up déshabillables et en relief, les numéros
spéciaux en font un incontournable du charme fifties très
recherché par les collectionneurs.
