Scarce copy of book on exploring Burma and Tibet.
Green stamped design on cover and lettering on spine.
Illustrated throughout with 23 b/w pictures and photographs; includes an illustrated map.
Cover board is rubbed to board at the corners and has a small dent in the center of the fore edge; back board is rubbed through to board at the corners and lightly frayed by the spine edge.
Spine has a library sorting sticker above the publisher lettering; fraying and closed tearing at the foot and some larger tears at the head and along the edge about an inch down.
Inside cover pastedown has a library ink stamp and a bookplate from a previous owner; library ink stamps on title page, page 32 and on back pastedown and end papers. Pencil markings on back free end paper and sticker ghost from library system
Inside pages are clean and clear.
Binding is tight.
