RTV High Temperature Resistant Silicone is an addition platinum cure silicone rubber which is odourless and non toxic. The cured rubber has a long mould life, virtually no shrinkage (0.1%), high dimensional stability over time, non-deformability and excellent reproduction of fine detail.  The mixed material has a pot life of 30-40 mins with a cure time of 6-8 hours @ 25°C. If both components are pre-heated to 30°C before mixing the mixture will have a pot life of 10-15 mins with a cure time of 30-40 mins. The two components mix easily by hand with a 1:1 ratio by weight and because of the low viscosity can be used without processing in a vacuum chamber. This silicone is safe for contact with skin for life castings. Detailed reproduction of figures, art objects, jewellery and similar items.
