Long before Cool Mini or Not produced the new hit game, Rivet Wars, Ted Terranova took his idea for a Rivet-based world, and began making Rivet characters in his basement, hand-cast, in limited production runs. These are extremely hard to come by.
Right here we have the 1st in the line of hand-made rivets - the "Light Vertical tank," otherwise known as Sherman.
However, this figure has been modified and customized. Ted originally was inspired and received molding information and support from a discussion board on customized toys. Many of the figures that he produced were purchased by people in this discussion board, who often went and customized them further. This tank had legs attached to the treads, the right arm replaced with a new arm holding a removable plastic lance, and a new paint job.
This auction is for a customized version of the hand-cast Light Vert Tank, pictured on the left. This figure does not come with the information card originally included.
Not sure when you'll see one of these original creations again (either customized, or in it's original form).
