Rare and genuine piece- Original Edwardian Era
This is a stunning ORIGINAL EDWARDIAN CULTURED PEARL AND DIAMOND ring set in 18CT yellow gold and Platinum ( NOT hallmarked , though tests as such).
Set in this high quality setting are, in total, 1 stunning cultured pearl and 26 lovely natural vibrant old cut DIAMONDS, with 2 being of very substantial size.
The two prinicipal old cut diamonds at each end of the ring measure just over 3mm. There are a further 8 diamonds of approx 2-2.5mm, and 15 of 1mm. To the shoulders, are 3 diamonds tapering down each side.
The total diamond content is a large 1.10cts approximately.
The diamond vary from VS2-Si2 in clarity.
The whole ring head measures approximately 20 x 8.5 mm not including the diamond shoulders.
All the diamonds are held very securely by a platinum milligrain, or claw setting.
The stunning white/ cream tone cultured pearl measures 6mm. This is genuine to the ring, and has never replaced another stone or diamond. The pearl is held specifically within a pearl setting as viewed from underneath.
The ring is size GB K 1/2 US 5 1/2- this can easily be resized. There is very delicate hand craftsmanship to the mount and shank- this really is a very high quality ring
The ring weighs 3 grams .
