PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BUYING, Thank you.

Here is a vintage very probably from the 60's Framed PAINTING, obviously made by McCAINE, as it is signed at the top right, the signature is even a part of the motive, the lettering is beautiful and fits perfectly with the painting itself.

It represents a white bird standing, maybe walking, there is a feeling of movement because of the brownish paint strokes on the background, behind the bird. It has a very modern look, typical of the mid-century and the 60's.

The frame itself seems from the same period. I wouldn't be surprised if the artist had framed his artwork himself. The way the frame is mounted shows that it is an old one, no cheap method, I never saw some of the elements of the framing before. This frame is in wood with some golden enhancement. It is really typically the kind of frame my parents could have had in the 60's.

It seems to be some oil paint on cotton canvas. And I would bet this is an original. I can't guarantee any of this, as I have no proof and no certificate of authenticity, but it is obviously old from the period of this artist (60's) who was maybe not copied yet, then.

This is a gorgeous Painting, so expressive in spite of its apparent very simple work.
And because of its neutral colors, it may fit in any home decor.

Please, read the Condition
The painting needs two small restorations (canvas damaged, please, check the photos) and the wood of the frame needs to be re-stained because some brown stain is worn here and there, due to age. I wanted to restore the painting myself as I learned how to do it, but I was afraid that it would lower the value of this painting. It is probably better to make it done by a professional.
As the two damages are very small, it is not a huge work, but it just needs to be done properly, to get it back as new.
