The Cinebar 51 THX Streaming was a huge hit with both
audio journalists and users. We built its successor to be even more user
friendly and feature rich with an even bigger sound.
An included network audio player gives
you access to a whole world of music
The included Raumfeld Connector is a Wi-Fi
network player that gives you access to internet radio, NAS and USB devices on
your network, music streaming services and more. A free Raumfeld App allows you
to control the Connector from just about any iOS or Android mobile device. You
can send music from your Apple iPhone/iPod/iPad (via iTunes) or your Android
device directly to the Connector.
A high-end digital / analog converter from
Cirrus Logic™ supports audio files with a resolution of 24 bit. A 192 kHz
sampling rate gives the Connector the best sound quality in its class: You'll
enjoy extremely low noise, high resolution and dynamic sound.
Why THX?
THX is the premier quality standard for movie
sound, both in cinemas and home theatre systems. It was born of a project George
Lucas initiated shortly after the release of "The Empire Strikes Back" when he
hired the sound engineer Tomlinson Holman and entrusted him with the task of
finding a way to improve and standardize cinema sound. This led to the founding
of the company THX Ltd. in 1983 for the purpose of certifying cinema
sound.

It doesn’t matter whether you plan to use the
Cinebar 52 THX with a television, game console, CD player, smartphone or tablet
– just about every conceivable device connects. This is because the Cinebar 52
THX offers 4 digital audio inputs, 4 HDMI inputs, an HDMI output and 2 analog
stereo inputs.
Surround sound from a single
enclosure
Special patented technology from Dolby –
already used in many other Teufel devices – enables the listener to achieve a
sensation of immersive surround sound from a single loudspeaker enclosure. The
creation of virtual sound sources gives the impression that there are additional
loudspeakers in the room.
Dolby Virtual Speaker uses two operating
modes: "Reference" (for realistic surround sound) and "Wide" (for a broad stereo
image with gaming and movies). Of course, you also have the option of
deactivating the Dolby Virtual Speaker function.
Supports all audio
formats
The Cinebar 52 THX decodes DTS as well as
Dolby Digital and includes decoders for Dolby Pro Logic as well as Dobly Pro
Logic II. This makes the Cinebar 52 THX able to receive just about any incoming
audio signal whether from a television, Blu-ray player, Wii U, Playstation 3 or
4, or Xbox 360 or One.

The Cinebar 52 THX simply sounds better than

A 2-way system with a total of 6 drivers ensures
the dynamic, nuanced, and distortion-free reproduction of movie soundtracks,
games, and music.
Two 25 mm aluminium tweeters radiate brilliant, powerful
highs even at maximum capacity.
Four long-throw 100 mm midrange drivers
create a warm midrange and reproduce voices naturally and clearly for a full
sound even at low volumes.
A 250 watt class D amplifier in the soundbar
ensures high levels and extremely low noise.
250 watt THX
subwoofer
The subwoofer that comes with the Cinebar 52
THX is also a force to be reckoned with. A 250 watt class D amplifier and 250 mm
bass driver in a bass reflex enclosure drives the low end all the way down to 35
Hz (-3dB) and produces very high levels of punchy, explosive bass.
The advantage of HDMI: The ability to
use your current TV remote + fewer cables
Thanks to HDMI CEC (Consumer Electronics
Control) you can set the volume and input source on for the Cinebar using the
remote for your television. In addition, HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) allows
you to connect your Blu-ray player, game console, and television to the Cinebar
using just three cables. With this technology, you won’t need an additional
cable for transmitting the audio signal from the television.
Wirelessly access
music
The included network audio player allows you
to wirelessly access numerous internet radio stations and music streaming
services as well as your own music library. USB devices can also be directly
connected to the player.
UPnP-enabled media players like Windows Media
Player 12 or Twonky allow you to losslessly stream music from a PC or Mac to the
Connector. Like all Raumfeld systems, the Connector also communicates with
DLNA-enabled devices.
Direct audio streaming with iOS and
Android mobile devices
Music stored on your iOS or Android smartphone
or tablet can be streamed directly to the Connector quickly and without quality
loss.
Multiroom & Multimusic streaming
with extra EQ
True to its name, the Connector connects
easily with other Raumfeld devices such as the Speaker L and the One. The
Raumfeld App allows you to define listening zones. You can fill these zones with
the same or different music. Music is transmitted wirelessly and in perfect
sync. Additionally, you can set different EQs in each listening zone.
Stream via line-in
Connect your record or CD player or other
source device via the line-in interface on the Connector and stream the signals
from these devices (if you have a multi-room setup) into other rooms. For
instance, you can play a record in your living room and listen to it via the
Connector on the Raumfeld Cubes in your bedroom.
Audio formats and gapless
playback
With Raumfeld, you can enjoy all standard
audio formats in just about any bit rate. Raumfeld supports MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG
Vorbis, ASF, WMA, and AAC.
You can also expect not to hear any dead air that
isn’t meant to be there – that’s gapless playback.

Subwoofer CB 52 SW A powerful 250 watt THX subwoofer with a 35 Hz (-3 dB)
low end. The 250 mm bass driver in the subwoofer's bass reflex enclosure is
capable of deep, punchy bass that is never muddy; and thanks to Teufel's
proprietary Air Stream Bass Technology, you won't hear any wind noise - even at
high volumes.
