It has a nutty smell, with some people it may be stink but it absolutely has great benefits for our skin, hair as moisturizer or as part of your cream formulas and many others... Please note that our Shea butter is unrefined and hand crafted. Depending on the season of harvesting the Shea nuts will result in either a more yellower colour or a more ivory colour.
In the same token, some batches will have a slightly stronger smell than others and still have similar properties and technical results.
Our Shea butter is A Grade which has a low FFA(Free Fatty Acid)result of less than 2%, the smell is generally fairly low.
Generally, some batches can be more creamier than others, which will result in less grainy particles as well. But overall, it is quite consistent across the board.
