This high quality patch depicts the traditional symbol of the tiger inside the circle, called the “Tora
no Maki” or the “Tiger Scroll” which
has given identity to the dynamic style of Shotokan Karate. It was originally
designed by a friend and student of Sensei Funakoshi, who was also said to have
been instrumental in convincing Funakoshi to teach in Japan and write his
master text of Karate.
The outstanding quality of

collectable item for every Shotokan Karate practitioner as well as a well
thought out and treasured gift. Measuring 12cm in diameter it is perfect for
