Vintage "Original" Authentic 1987 Jerry Garcia Shirt from the Historic Eighteen (18) Concert Run on Broadway in New York, New York ... J.G.B. in New York City !!!!!

Jerry Garcia Fans & Deadheads Everywhere!  This may very well be the most Monumental (& Memorable!) Jerry Garcia Band concert run.  Eighteen (18) Straight! J.G.B. Shows on Broadway - in New York City, and who made it happen?  You guessed it - none other than the man himself... Mr. Bill Graham!  This run of Shows was important for many reasons, but arguably the two most important ones were as follows :  First, this was in a way the true-tested showing of Garcia's "comeback" from his near-death diabetic coma frighteningly experienced after the Summer '86 Grateful Dead Tour.  And Secondly, these shows featured not only smoking-hot J.G.B. "Electric" Sets, but they also each featured an "Acoustic" set from the Jerry Garcia Acoustic Band (J.G.A.B.)!!  There was no finer way to show your thanks to the Fans, and your sheer love and passion than "going acoustic" for 18-straight nights on Broadway in New York City!  Many musicians wouldn't take this chance, but Jerry would - and thankfully for us, indeed he did!  As many musicians - and especially guitar players - very well know, it's pretty tough to "hide-behind" an acoustic guitar (& especially lead guitar) when your fretboard-chops aren't perfectly 100% 'on'.  Even playing with a band, everything is way audible live - and unlike playing electric guitar, you simply cannot hide.  But what did Jerry care, because his playing was completely 'On', and to the delight of the Dead Fan Faithful... he was Back!!  So, as it goes without saying - this Amazing! Vintage-Original Shirt from this '87 Broadway run is clearly one of the most heralded collectibles in the Grateful Dead Fan World, and most-certainly for the Fans of the Jerry Garcia Band!  And in addition... What a Shirt!!  This one gets right to the point, my fellow fans - Garcia working his magic in fine photo fashion (photography courtesy of the famous Herb Greene!), with the dates & occasion boldly stated on the back.  Just perfect...  And last but most-definitely not least (other than all of the "Garcia" info, naturally...) - this Shirt is a Rare-Version!!  This is the Athletic Grey Screen Stars! Tee version... in the often impossible to find Size... XL!!!  And, especially impossible to find here today... well over 25-Years after this J.G.B. & J.G.A.B. run!!!  My goodness how time does fly, as I'm just so Grateful that we all still have the Music!  Enjoy this Garcia Treasure !!!
