How it works?

Operation of this equipment is provide to a very specific signal to the sensor - temperature (this is a trade secret of every tuning company). After receiving such information from the sensor, the ECU (board computer installes in every car) changes cars settings to more sport. Air - fuel mixture is change. Then the ignition adjusts itself to the new mix (if car has a turbocharger, turbochargers pressure also rises). These new settings increase the power, depending on the model of the car by up to tens of horsepowers and torque also significantly increases. This results in improved driving dynamics, better acceleration and higher top speed of the car.

Installation is fast and easy!

1. So, we are looking for an stand-alone sensor on the pipe inlet to the air filter, on the air filter or on the air intake manifold.
2. The sensor may be embedded in the flow meter - 60% of all cars have a sensor built into the flowmeter.
3. If the car doesn't have a separate sensor and the flowmeter has only 3 wires, this means that the intake air temperature sensor is located in the MAP sensor (MAF).
4. If the sensor is separate, it has two wires - the wires should be bridged using the chip. Gentle strip the wire and connect in the cables from the chip (using the quick connectors, soldering wires or using the "swivel" - weave together, the directions don't matter - the signal flowing throgh the chip is the same on both sides. Chip in the flowmeter or MAP sensor can be connected in two ways.

Can chipbox harm the engine of your car?
