This RO membrane is a TFC (Thin Film Composite) membrane that reduces flouride, lead, barium, cadmium, chromium, mercury, nitrate, nitrite, TDS, and most other materials from your water. Also known as part number 01-0074-02. Depending on stock, you may receive part number M-T1812A36-CUL, which is the same membrane as the Desal, just manufactured by a different company.
