NTSC SYSTEM VHS:
Although VHS is the accepted standard throughout the world, there are three distinctly different types:
VHS NTSC is used in the U.S.A., Canada and Japan.
VHS PAL is used in most European countries, notably UK.
VHS SECAM is used in France.
This tape will only work on either NTSC or dual standard (capable of playing both PAL & NTSC) VCRs. Most of the bigger manufacturers (Sony, Panasonic etc) have been making dual standard VCRs for years.
