HANDSOME, large scuttle from a bygone era. 19.5" tall with handle extended upward; 14" tall with it downward.  29" wide in circumference at its widest. Back handle has a fancy brass rams head handle, whereas the brass handle hinges at the sides have a gargoyle look about them. Has a minor dent down at the bottom on the right side; see pics. This in no way detracts from the piece, since it is obviously old. I do not know its history, but it is quite impressive.
