High performance and long-life MicroLinear™ stylus

MicroLinear™ (ML) is a specially polished line contact stylus. This has better high range performance than the conical or elliptical stylus due to its small curvature radius and realizes low distortion and expanding high range reproduction even when playing at the inner circumference of records. And the constancy of the line contact shape is one of its main features with an average product lifetime of around 1000 hours.

The Needle Exchange - Our Philosophy:

Everyone deserves to play their Vinyl records with a good, unworn stylus (needle). Anything else risks damage to the record which would be a tragedy

Old, worn and damaging styli/needles should be taken out of circulation to avoid damage to anybody’s records

Needle/Cartridge/stylus exchange should be a simple affair at minimum cost

This cartridge can be bought outright at the price offered, or at a discount with the return of your existing/old cartridge  (any make or model)

This is how it works:

1)      ‘Make an Offer’ through Ebay for this AT-PTG/II  (It doesn’t matter what price you offer at this stage – enter £1 if you like).   Use the ‘Add message to seller’ feature to give details of your current cartridge.  If possible, include details such as make, model and whether it currently works.  Say as much or as little as you like (250 characters max) but more information may enable us to offer a  better price

2)      We will respond with an ‘exchange’ price for this AT-PTG/II  in return for your old cartridge

3)      If you accept the offer from us, you pay the agreed lower ‘exchange’ price and the new cartridge is sent to you along with a label for you to return your old cartridge.

It’s as simple as that!

If you are wondering what happens to the old cartridges, They are check and inspected.  Some are sent for repair, rebuild and retipping.  Others are recycled for their tiny amounts of precious metal contents.
