The reverse of this coin features a design by Canadian Artist Pierre Leduc of the profile of a growling cougar. The cougar looks fierce and is displaying its teeth as both a warning and a threat. The detail on the head and neck are remarkable, with the fur of the cougar being beautifully captured.
