Description: This is probably the best priced later model PVD Sub you'll ever find! It has a Z series serial number so it's from around 2007/2008.
It is a PVD Coated Stainless Steel Rolex Submariner Watch with Date Model 16610 with Black Dial and Bezel Insert! It has the Newer Style Solid End Link (SEL) Bracelet with FlipLock Oyster Clasp.
This SS Rolex Submariner is waterproof to 1000ft.
It includes an original Rolex box as well as an appraisal from a G.I.A. appraiser valuing the watch at $14,500 for insurance purposes. The appraisal is dated this month 8/4/2016 and it is open so that you can fill out your own name and submit to your insurance company!
Rolex does not PVD coat their watches. All PVD watches anywhere were customized by 3rd party companies.
Condition:
This watch is preowned with some light scratches most notably on the clasp. A small amount of the black PVD coating is worn along the sharp edges of the right side of the bracelet as well as the flat surface of the crown. This can be touched up with a sharpie to make it invisible if you're picky. There are some very light scratches on the bezel insert that aren't worth mentioning as they don't even cut through the surface so most sellers would not disclose that and would say the bezel is excellent or mint. To get extra picky there is a crack in the luminescent pearl that's not very noticeable. As seen in the photos of the back it appears that before the watch was PVD coated one area of the edge of the case back near the crown was over-polished. This is purely cosmetic and does not affect the functionality of the watch. The diving extension that is normally hidden inside the clasp is missing. The average buyer would never realize this since it's a feature that almost no one uses.
