This
is a standard Yamaha YTR-1335 trumpet, serial number: 408793. It was built in
Japan and its previous owner brought it to Rosehill in 2014 although has since been serviced by our on-site brass technician.
It is a discontinued model now (as the current versions are made in China), the production from Japan was always top quality. The YTR-1335
is an entry-level trumpet which is suitable for even a complete beginner and
could take the player up to about grade 4. The trumpet produces a very good
sound for a student instrument; you would be most welcome to test it here in our
showroom. We always keep a good slection of student trumpets in stock, from £100 upwards.
Taken from another website: “The
YTR-1335 offers high quality pro-style models for a student trumpet price. It

Condition Description
As
with all of our instruments, the trumpet has been serviced and tested by our
brass technician to ensure that it is fully functional and plays well. Rosehill technicians are
vastly experienced and respected in the music business and you will be pleased
with the quality of the work.
The
valve action is smooth, quiet and precise; the slides move freely and easily.
You should not expect to need any further work done to service or repair the
instrument for the foreseeable future.
Cosmetically,
the trumpet remains in very good condition. There are no dents, dings or creases,
and the silver-plating is in flawless condition: it is free from scratches with
the exception of one light scratch on the bell which is hardly noticeable, and
the brass is not exposed anywhere.
The
instrument comes in its original Yamaha hard case, which shows some signs of
use but has no obvious scuff marks or dents. The latches are fully-functioning
and the handle is strong.
The
mouthpiece has been branded by Yamaha as an 11C4-7C. It remains in good
condition. However, if you would prefer to purchase a different mouthpiece, we
offer a wide selection of trumpet mouthpieces which are available on request.
Similarly, if you wish to purchase trumpet or brass accessories, please do not
hesitate to ask.
Returns/Warranty
If on initial inspection you are disappointed in any way, you may return it and receive a full refund. You are most welcome to visit and test the instrument in our playing room prior to making a commitment.

Rosehill Instruments is a music retail business which has specialised in selling and repairing brass and woodwind instruments since 1967. It was founded by Trevor Austin (father of Paul) who was previously a euphonium player in the Horse Guards (and played on horseback at the Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation in 1953). Following long service in the Salvation Army as a player and conductor, his reputation led to requests to supply instruments around the UK and overseas. Rosehill is now led by Trevor’s son Paul. The company was awarded a UK government contract in 1999, and since then has been an approved supplier of musical instruments to Her Majesty’s military bands. We also repair, refurbish and service all brass band and military band instruments at our workshops in Beaconsfield. As well as drawing customers from all over the UK, we also supply many instruments to bands and players overseas.
