By far our brightest LED Bulb for the Maglite 4 to 6 D cell torches we have currently available. Several times brighter than the 3 watt Cree XP-G2 S3 LED upgrade bulbs for sale on Ebay. The upgrade utilises the 10 Watt CREE XM-L2 U3 LED which is rated at approximately 1000 lumens at 10 watts (the detailed spec for the XM-L2 U3 LED can be found on the cree.com website)
This upgrade also works in the 3 D cell Maglite but it will strobe / flash on the high power level if the batteries are relatively well used so is generally recommended for the 4 cell Maglite upwards.

This LED bulb fits all regular / traditional incandescent 4 to 6 cell Maglites with the traditional krypton and xenon bulbs.

Runtime with low power mode is approximately 40 hours with 4D cells. Power usage of 0.8 watt producing approximately 80 OTF (out the front) lumens
Runtime with medium power mode is approximately 12 hours with 4D cells. Power usage of 3 watts producing approximately 300 OTF (out the front) lumens
Runtime with high power mode is approximately 5 hours with 4 D cells. Power usage 9 watts producing approximately 800 OTF (out the front) lumens.
