30 Amp Schottky Diode (400Amp Surge)

These diodes are Ideal for Marine, Solar and Wind Generator applications.

Place the diode between your power source (Alternator, Solar panels / Wind Generator) and your batteries and the Diode will stop your starting batteries from being discharged, or in green applications:- your batteries from discharging when the Sun isn't shining / Wind isn't blowing.

It can also prevent reverse charging of your batteries.

If you require more than 30 Amps, then more of these diodes can be wired in parallel to 60Amp, 90Amp e.t.c. configurations.

As these are Schottky diodes, they have a lower voltage drop compared to conventional diodes typically 0.31 Volts (compared to 0.7 Volts), which means that more of your (precious green) power goes to your batteries, and less ends up as heat in the diode.

These items are located in the Czech Republic (I am an expat), so postage takes about a week to the UK.  Although please note, many of the packages I have sent to the UK recently have arrived within 2 to 3 days.

I don't get much feedback on delivery times for the rest of the world, but delivery times in Europe should be similar to UK delivery times, outside Europe could take longer.
