How I Grade a 78
The above grade is based solely on how the 78 sounds to my ears on my sound system about ten feet from the speakers. The grade is not based on its physical appearance. Any deficiencies other than sound are noted separately. It has been my experience that sellers tend to overgrade 78s, which I try not to do. The highest grade I use for 78s is VG+, and in my estimation less than 3% of 78s in existence fall into this category.
How I Ship 78s
78s are extremely fragile and can easily break in transit if not properly packaged. Every 78 that I
ship is first sandwiched (in a sleeve) between two 10" X 10" cardboard 'fillers'. The 78s are placed in a
12" X 12" X 6" box which is then filled with 'peanuts' or other appropriate material to protect the 78s.
Shipping Charges
Click the 'Shipping and payments' tag for the shipping charge to your area. This is the actual Canada Post rate for one 78 rpm record packaged as described above. (One 78 rpm record packaged as described above will weigh approximately 900 grams.) I do not charge for the shipping materials, nor do I have a 'handling' charge. If purchasing more than one item, shipping will also be at the actual Canada Post rate (to be calculated). If purchasing more than one item, please wait for an invoice before remitting payment as the combined shipping total calculated by Ebay's checkout system is often not accurate. Shipments to countries other than the United States or Canada can be made by surface mail at a lower cost, but shipping times can be two to three months (Please message me for rates).
Returns
This item may be returned for full refund within 14 days of receipt. I do request that you contact
me first before returning an item. Return postage will be refunded if item was not accurately described.
Canadian Residents
