This turbocharger fitted is fitted with a Billet impeller wheel and has been designed to provide up to 10% more airflow than the standard turbocharger.
One of the key advantages of a billet wheel is that it's stronger than a cast wheel. The impeller wheels are milled from custom forgings and designed to deliver exceptional strength as well as being superior in quality.
Our ‘billet impeller’ turbochargers are proving to be extremely popular due to their lightweight design.
VSR Balanced
The turbocharger you will receive has been balanced using the latest VSR machine technology from the UK and will be provided with an individual balance report.
During the balancing process, the VSR machine spins the turbine wheel, using compressed air, up to speeds reaching 210,000 revs/ min. Whilst spinning, the machine measures the tiny amount of imbalance created by the rotating components and calculates the procedure for correcting this imbalance.
After correcting the balance the vibration results will be lowered to below industry standard prescribed limits.
If this balancing process is not carried out the result can be a turbo which will be noisy in operation and will suffer failure prematurely.
Billet Quality
Just like our upgraded turbochargers, Speedup Autoparts wanted to ensure that we really are supplying our customers with the best billet turbocharger, so for 2016we took the industry standard and halved it.
That's right; the billet turbocharger shown here is guaranteed to have a balance of less than half the industry standard prescribed limits, including OEM turbochargers. If one of our billet turbochargers has a balance exceeding this then it automatically gets rejected.
We want to supply the best billet aftermarket turbochargers at the best price - it's that simple.

A 12-month Australian warranty is provided with all our turbochargers.
The product warranty is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of receiving the order and covers against manufacturer's defect under normal use. In the rare case your turbocharger does not function properly due to a manufacturing quality issue, Speedup Autoparts will repair it or replace it free of charge, depending on the specific circumstances.
Please note: professional installation by a qualified workshop / mechanic is required.
We understand some customers do wish to fit the turbocharger themselves; however the warranty does not cover amateur or home installations, nor damage resulting from improper installation and modifications.
We cannot accept any warranty claims without evidence of professional installation.
