ALEMBIC F2B PREAMP UPGRADED TO DAVE GILMOUR SPECIFICATIONS BY PETE CORNISH.

THIS IS THE REAL DEAL. THE PREAMP IS TOTALLY CLEAN WITH MASSIVE HEADROOM AS PER FENDER TWIN/DUAL SHOWMAN CIRCUIT. THIS IS A CLEAN PLATFORM FOR GUITAR FX PEDALS. THIS PREAMP IS IN GREAT WORKING ORDER. Top and bottom have some markings from what looks like gaffer's tape. The pre-amp has two channels: You can split your instrument signal and feed both sides of the preamp in parallel, enabling you to have two separate EQ's. Alternatively, you could run the two channels in series,  come out of channel one and feed channel two. However, my understanding is Mr. Gilmour only uses one channel! 

Here is the list of modifications performed to the unit:

1) Inputs and outputs all on back
2) Mid control changed to get lots more mid but still can reduce to original
3) Change Bright switch to upper mid boost
4) Add channel master volumes on back
5) Add low impedance and ground lifted outputs
