Here's GREAT sounding PAPERTHIN Zildjian.....that has been ignominiously expunged from the catalog...

And as you can see this beauty IS IN GREAT SHAPE! A light GOLDEN patina has befriended it, it's aged beautifully!!

nicks, cracks, dents or dings on this Zildjian.  It's in GREAT SHAPE with the lightest of patinas starting to form.

As many of you may know, this A and Cie comprised some of the BEST SOUNDING modern Zildjians. PAPERTHIN, warm, extremely responsive with a subtle glowing tone. And that is exactly the vibe of this particular 18"! Why the hell Zildjian discontinued this series I'll never know. They were some of their best modern cymbals. Could someone at Zildjian call me...we're practically neighbors!! You can borrow a cup of sugar and explain the reasoning behind this decision.

 These A and CIE Crashes go toe-to-toe with ANY great sounding K no problem. And overall the entire series was WAY MORE CONSISTENT than the Zildjian K series.

And this wonderful 18" is EASILY BENDABLE!

Weighing in at a PAPERTHIN 1182 grams, this Zildjian A&CIE 18" plays like an Old School PAPERTHIN Crash. The tone of this Crash is GLOWING WARM.  Again, one of the FINEST modern series Zildjian made.  Super light and responsive and it opens up very quickly with ease.

Imagine a K Constantinople Thin Crash but a pinch brighter and with a little more control. THAT is THIS CYMBAL.

You can use this A Zildjian & CIE VINTAGE 18" for whatever your heart's desire...Obviously it's a terrific choice for jazz, blues, ballads, soul, trio work, acoustic folk settings, and low volume gigs. But it ALSO makes a tremendous Light Crash Ride for rock, funk, fusion, country, pop and session work.

Truly a workhorse Zildjian.
