EMERSON ½ horsepower “Special Service Duty Motor” with high strength cast steel commercial duty grinder burr-disc heads.  Guaranteed 100%! "Very Low Heat Grind Gain" which can cause product quality degradation.  Especially important for the quality Brewers - Distillers and Bakers!  This grinder -mill will grind about 100 pounds per hour on the finest setting, (which is slightly finer than the photo of the ground wheat),  and 300+ pounds per hour on the roughest grind setting.  (FREE SHIPPING with BUY-IT-NOW)

I have had numerous stories from small farms how their animals have gained considerably in meat quality and faster gain  with "fresh ground feed", grinding in smaller runs; eliminating product quality loss (oxidation).

Wide variety of grinding uses: home, bakery, brewing, farm feed.   If it is a grain, kernel, dry herb, (or call and ask), it will grind it to an infinite number of adjustable grind settings, from very fine to a large "crack" only.  Two limiting factors, size of product & oil or moisture content, (think peanuts).  Something larger than the size of an un-shelled almond would be too large to be pulled into the grinder head by the worm gear.  But corn or even very large kidney or lima beans for example will pass through easily and grind to whatever fineness you adjust the burr discs to.  Some people have told me they have successfully rough crushed a larger product and then ground that to the fineness they needed.

Does not work well for wet or doughy limed/corn ie: "masa" or "nixtamal".

IF You Have ANY questions about the grinder-mill and or my opinion on what it will or will not grind please feel free to call me.*  903-519-0025

In my experience this one heavy duty machine will out last multiple foreign made machines.  These were built for larger commercial applications.

This grinder will outlast and out grind any of the machines rated much higher hp.  This is a very high torque motor, (which is the important "twisting force" or real power),  The other machines spin faster to create a higher horse power but bog down under fairly light loads.  This motor does NOT bog down, in fact you need to be very careful if children are around,  (or your own fingers), the high torque motor and auger assembly WILL take a finger off.

I have not seen any of the foreign grinders, (Korea, Vietnam, China, India, Russia), that compare favorably with the quality of the motor and grinding burr-discs in these USA made grinder-mills.  Some of the foreign grinder mills may have large hoppers and promise greater grain capacity runs, but except for their larger hoppers and metal or wood cases I believe these grinders will outlast, and in the end out grind any of the foreign machines I have seen.  Note many of those foreign machines state the maximum continuous run times of 15-30 minutes. (low quality plastic and aluminum motor parts).  Many of them have cutting knives instead of burr discs which chip easily and become dull after a few hundred pounds of product run.  Most of the foreign grinders that do use burr discs have poorly cast non-hardened steel augers and grinding teeth in their burr sets and are not balanced well or pair matched. which generally cause inconsistent grind and much quicker wear of the burr discs.  Ask how many pounds of grinding, the foreign burr discs are guaranteed for.  I don't think any of them are rated or warranted for more than a couple of months, certainly not in the 50,000 pound category of these grinder-mill machines.

These come with just what you see, there is no hopper included.  I use a plastic funnel-hopper to feed in the grain.  I collect the ground grain in a simple clean bucket below the output chute.  You can even re-run a grain if you want the finest grind.

These heavy duty motor/grinder-mills are used pulled from commercial grade continuous duty rated machines that sold for over $2,000.00 and are very high quality, and make for an easy smooth running grind.  (Almost no motor or grinder head vibration even under load grinding).

I only sell machines that have at least 75% of their burr disc life remaining and all motors testing within new specifications.

The grinding disc burrs are hardened high quality cast steel.  The  discs are pair matched-honed for accurate grind and durability.  (The original manufacturer actually guaranteed the burr grinding discs for 30,000 pounds of product grinding and rated them to 50,000.

I can get replacement discs if you should ever need them, but unless you run rocks through the machine I can't imagine a home user ever needing to have the discs replaced.

I am a small business owner and I personally inspect, clean and test each machine before I list them.

Every machine I sell I completely clean, inspect and run multiple tests.  The front grind head is pulled, inspected, and cleaned.  The inner brass bushing inspected for wear.  The rear burr disc is inspected and cleaned.  The motor is load tested.  I do the test grinds at various settings.  I only sell excellent condition machines on ebay,  with low hour auger and grinding gear/burr discs.

I guarantee my machines 100%.  If you think they are not as described or photographed I will refund your money, period!

Emerson 1/2 hp low RPM(1720) high torque 110 Volt motor and hardened cast iron worm gear and grinding burr-discs.  Almost zero heat transfer to product.  Will not "HEAT GRIND"  and degrade your grain for baking, beer making or distilling.  The motors are commercial grade-continuous duty rated.  I have used my grinder-mill for several years without any issues.  I have ground rye, corn, dried beans, barley, wheat, rice, coffee, milo, (sorghum), peas, even dry cat and dog food, as well as many other products.  I have ground wheat from double pass very fine, (almost bagged flour fine),  to beans and corn that I only ground to large pieces.

Will NOT successfully grind high oil products like peanuts for example.  A rule of thumb is if you crush the product with nothing added and it makes a paste it probably will not grind without gumming up the grinding burr discs.

The photos hopefully give an indication of the size of grind, from a very coarse grind, (the red beans) to a fairly fine powder, (wheat photo).  Rarely do I grind to a smooth powder but when I do, I generally set the discs just before they touch and then re-run the flour a second time.  (the discs are easily and quickly adjustable).  I include instructions.

I have used my grinder for several years and my discs still show very minimal wear.

I will include an additional shear disc as well as instructions for burr-disc adjustment and shear disc replacement.

The machines are very easy to use and adjust.

These are quite heavy (about 40 pounds securely packed and boxed) Actual shipping charge is from $48-$81 "INSURED" (depending on your location), but I will charge a FLAT $40.00 to anywhere in the continental USA.

I ship within 1 business day.
