Please read everything here (I know it’s a lot but with eBay’s new rules and such it is better to be well informed):

*I do doll repair and restoration. Write me if you have a doll in need of sealing (for compositions), restringing (all sizes and types), cleaning or resetting of hair.

*NOTE: The items I sell are vintage/antique and therefore should be regarded as such. Unless the description says an item is, "Mint" expect it to be in used condition (as is). I am not an expert in ANYTHING so it is essential to ASK questions and please ask them no later than 48 hours prior to the end of the auction so that I may respond.

Payment/Combined Shipping

I accept all forms of payment, PayPal, credit cards (write me and I will tell you how to use your credit card without having to have a PayPal account or leave it online), cashier’s checks, and other forms-just ask me if you want to pay another way! I do offer 30 and 60 day layaway if your purchase total is more than $1,000. Contact me prior to bidding if you wish to use my layaway plan. No refunds on layaway deposits.  You must pay within 3 days after the auction ends. Please email me ASAP if you win more than one auction, so that I may combine shipping for you! If you win more than one auction, do not pay! Ebay no longer will allow sellers to combine shipping on more than one combined invoice. So, if you pay separately, you will be charged shipping for each item.

Returns

Although I accept returns, it is not an unconditional policy. There must be a “real” reason such as: I have grossly misrepresented an item, or if an item has been damaged in shipping while in transit. In either case, you will be refunded the full amount you paid for the item, less shipping costs. I do not accept items for a refund for, “looky loos” (buyers who win several auctions and then want to just look the dolls over and send the ones they do not want back), or buyer’s remorse.  Your bid is your bond.  I provide detailed descriptions and many photos for your examination.  Please use them and do not hesitate to ask questions!  Buyer must notify me within 48 hours after receiving the item and must ship the item back within 3 days fully insured and professionally packed as it was delivered. No partial refunds are given for any reason. All items over $50 are required to be insured. Insurance is paid by the buyer both ways with shipping costs. Before returning an item, the buyer must; contact me within 3 business days, provide 5 photos of the damage, or misrepresentation and a description of damage, or misrepresentation (EBay rules). The item must be returned in the same condition it left the seller and the buyer may not change/remove clothing, etc., from the item, or damage the item to get a refund. NOTE: ALTERING THE ITEM IN ANY WAY VOIDS THE BUYER'S RIGHT TO A 30-DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE (EBAY RULES). Thankfully, it is rare that returns are needed; however, buyers have been known to damage items to get a refund. Because this 30-day refund is new and required by ebay to keep my status, I must charge a 15% restocking fee for all returns because I am disabled and live off my eBay income. I have had only 1 return in 6 years so I do not anticipate this being an issue.

For the 99.9% of my customers this never happens and that is why I have a 100% positive feedback rating.

Shipping: Domestic & Worldwide

Most of my items offer FREE SHIPPING AND INSURANCE for U.S. Shipping only. To take advantage of FREE GLOBAL SHIPPING (see specific information about the Global Shipping Program below) you must choose EBay’s Global Shipping Program.  I will ship USPS Priority International if you do not want free shipping. Let me know that would prefer direct Priority International shipping with insurance prior to bidding. I usually ship in 1 day; however, I live in Ohio where we get a lot of winter snow and ice so sometimes it is 2 days. All items $100.00 or more require paid insurance (this protects us both in case something is damaged in shipping and is usually around $3.00+ depending how much the item is that you bought (a $100 item is around $3.00 but a $1,000 item will be about $10.00. This is built into the cost of the item if Free Shipping is offered).  If you have any questions about shipping costs please ask. Please remember that eBay now gets 9% of all shipping paid (which means that is less that I have to ship), that combined with the cost of packing materials (boxes/bubble envelopes/bubble wrap/tape, etc.), packing time and gas to get it to the post office all add up. I try my best to keep shipping costs as low as possible but I will not ship items in plain paper envelopes and take a chance on them being damaged. I do ship First Class if the item is small enough and weighs less than 13 oz. with packing materials.  Please check all types of shipping options available to you before choosing. Please contact me before leaving anything less than 5 stars for any category or negative/neutral feedback.  As seen in my feedback, I do everything possible to keep my customers happy!  Information empowers us all toward having a good Ebaying experience!

All packages are shipped via US Postal Service Flat Rate, Media Mail (for books only), Parcel Select, First Class if it weighs less than 13 oz., or US Postal Service Priority Mail and delivered in 3-14 business days after the ship date depending if it is sent Media Mail. I pack everything professionally! I often upgrade a buyer’s shipping from Parcel Select to Priority insured at no additional expense to the buyer if I find a box that is smaller and fits better! You will be notified if this happens.

**NOTE: Ebay has offered sellers who meet a certain standard a “Global Shipping Program.” This does save international buyers money; however, there are other criteria to take into consideration.  Please review the following information and let me know if you would like for me to ship your item International postage straight to your home, or if you wish to take advantage of Ebay’s new Global Shipping. I want to do what you feel comfortable with as a customer.  If you are an international buyer it is essential that you read this.

EBay’s Global Shipping Information: 

The Global Shipping Program simplifies selling an item to an international buyer. All eligible listings for sellers who qualify (which “lizdolling” does) are automatically included in the Global Shipping Program. Here's how it works:

1.   List your item.

2.   Your item sells to an international buyer in an eligible country.

3.   You ship the item to a US shipping center.

4.   International shipping experts (NOT ME) manage the international shipping and customs process, and send the item to the buyer (when you buy direct from me through either USPS Priority International or Global Express Guaranteed you will get the custom fees from your country when your item arrives).  *This means that I pack your item, I send it to a central shipping center, and then the center takes care of all customs, etc., and ships the item then to your home.  Although you save money, this means that there is another person between you and I that handles your package. Lately, I have had several international customers say that when they used the "Global Shipping Program" they had to pay additional money (especially customers in the UK) and it ended up being much more expensive. I will ship whichever way YOU wish. If it shows up with global shipping and you do not want that, just let me know and I will create another invoice with regular International Shipping costs.   *NOTE: I have had some complaints from buyers about this shipping program's hidden costs. So, if you are outside the US and interested in something, contact me prior to bidding and I will ship whichever way you wish. I can turn it off if you do not want it or, if no one has bid, turn it on if you prefer to use the program. 

Prior to bidding please contact me and tell me which you prefer, the “Global Shipping Program” or just regular shipping where I send the item directly to you.

I offer combined shipping-contact me for details. Contact me at least 48 hours prior to bidding to find out "true" shipping costs for areas outside the United States. I will not “lie” on customs’ forms, etc. Thank you!
