Listed here is a Rare Antique 1875 patent Cast Iron CHEW VENABLES TOBACCOS Enterprise Mfg Tobacco Cutter in good condition for age .....i believe the paint (at least the gold lettering ) has been touched up at some point....there is wear and the blade has a few nicks , but no fractures ,breaks, chips or damage to the cast iron .....great for display , not for use - because of the nicks to the cutting blade.....the Enterprise Mfg. Co. only made a limited number of CHEW VENABLES TOBACCOS Tobacco Cutters to be distributed only to limited sellers of VENABLES TOBACCOS at the time, later Enterprise models were then distributed across the U.S.....For more great info on the VENABLES TOBACCOS Co. please google --> opendurham.org/buildings/venable-tobacco-company
