A Modern Library Giant. Binding G4, type Gd jacket. "First Modern Library Giant Edition 1944" stated. This is the true first Modern Library edition (book and jacket), with the First Edition statement, the G4 binding, Gd jacket, and 299 titles listed on the jacket. Many illustrations by Rockwell Kent contained within.

VG/VG- Book is in very good condition, silver gilt is nice. Slight rough spot on top front edge, else boards clean. Pages clean with no writing. Upper front corner of pages in first half of book have crease, likely from bump. Front and rear fly have what appears to be a small amount of tape residue, but no other signs of this on book or jacket.  Jacket has some wear and light chipping at spine top/bottom. Jacket back has closed tear, curving from bottom toward side and is held nicely in protective cover. Small chip upper back, lower back, lower back corner, upper front corner. $1.45 price not clipped. 299 titles listed inside. In protective cover.
