Possessing an uncanny sense of balance, it can even flip to its feet and zoom forward when turned on its back!

Hexbug Scarab

The Scarab is a high-speed, mechanical, beetle-like robotic bug that skitters around on six angled legs. The high energy bug propels itself forwards and backwards, and is capable of popping from its back to its feet if placed upside down.

The combination of the Scarab's six specially designed angular legs, coupled with its lighting speed, make it easy for it to scurry away from obstacles in its path and flip over if caught on its back.

This bug is filled with robotic intelligence, and protected by a hard, transparent exoskeleton casing.

The first micro-robotic creature in the HEXBUG lineup. It feels its way around sensing objects in its path and avoiding them, using its bump sensor feelers. Fits in the palm of your hand for miniature fun at anytime!

You can control where it scurries through a hand clap, loud noise or table slap. The robotic bug will travel forward until it hits an obstacle or hears a loud noise.

It will then backup in a half circle and then move forward in a different direction. HEXBUG comes in five distinct shapes and colors.
