Contemporary and with similar characteristics to the Selmer Super 

and Selmer Cigar Cutter.


The saxophone has been partially cleaned and the setup has been checked, 

without removing the old pads!

Beautiful and evocative voice, easy action, 

homogeneous on all registers, fantastic, truly a pleasure to play!


From 1928 to 1935, the first 1.300 specimens of Adolphe Sax model, 

manufactured by Edward Sax and Henry Selmer, 

retain the original body created by E. Sax. 

It is one of the best examples of this model, rather long-lived, which has had four at least different production periods: 


FIRST PERIOD 1843-1894

model produced by the same A.J. Adolphe Sax.


Great sounds, great voice!

But for most of these specimens, the extension in reduced both for the high notes not addition to the D#,

both in descendent extension for the bass notes not besides the C.


SECOND PERIOD 1894 to 1927, the model produced by Edward Sax of which few specimens, 

very accurate, have the engraving "A.J. Adolphe Sax Inventeur Des Saxophones".

Key of F Front, and key of trill D / D # but without uncomfortable additional hole, 

behind the saxophone body.


THIRD PERIOD from 1928, the year of the sale to Selmer, where the first 1.300 specimens Adolphe Sax model, 

manufactured by Edward Sax and Henry Selmer, retain the original body created by E. Sax. 

The ring nut is simplified and the Soldered Tone Holes abandoned in favor of cheaper, extruded tone holes, 

patented by Haynes (the famous manufacturer of flutes) and adopted by most brands of saxophones (including Selmer), 

as a new system for the modern construction of saxophones. 

Some mechanical solutions of Selmer are taken to the castle and the spokesman. 



FOURTH AND LAST PERIOD until 1935, model produced by Selmer. 

Selmer ring nut and then even the body with similar characteristics to the Cigar Cutter or Super.

Sax baritono Adolphe Sax del '29, pronto per suonare!
Contemporaneo e con caratteristiche simili al Selmer Super e Selmer Cigar Cutter.

Il sassofono è stato pulito parzialmente e la messa a punto è stata controllata, 
senza rimuovere i vecchi pads. 
Stupenda e suggestiva voce, azione facile, omogeneo su tutti i registri, 
fantastico, veramente un piacere da suonare!

Dal 1928 al 1935, i primi 1.300 esemplari del modello Adolphe Sax,
prodotto da Edward Sax e Henry Selmer, mantengono il corpo originale creato da E. Sax.

Si tratta di uno dei migliori esemplari di questo modello, piuttosto di lunga durata, 
che ha avuto almeno quattro diversi periodi di produzione:

PRIMO PERIODO dal 1843 al 1894, modello prodotto dallo stesso A.J. Adolphe Sax.
Grande sonorità e grande voce!
Ma per la maggior parte di questi esemplari, 
l'estensione è ridotta sia per le note alte non oltre al RE#, 
sia discendente per le note basse non oltre al DO. 

SECONDO PERIODO dal 1894 al 1927, 
modello prodotto da Edward Sax di cui pochi esemplari, 
molto curati, riportano l'incisione "A.J. Adolphe Sax Inventeur Des Saxophones". 
Soldered Tone Holes, chiave del F frontale e chiave del trillo D/D# 
ma senza scomodo foro aggiuntivo dietro al fusto.

TERZO PERIODO dal 1928, anno della cessione del modello Adolphe Sax a Selmer, in cui i primi 1.300 esemplari, prodotti da Edward Sax e Henry Selmer, mantengono il fusto originale di E. Sax. 
Le ghiere vengono semplificate e i Soldered Tone Holes abbandonati in favore 
dei più economici, fori di tono estrusi, brevettati da George Haynes (il famoso costruttore di flauti) e adottati dalla maggior parte delle marche di sassofoni (Selmer compresa), come nuovo sistema per la moderna costruzione dei sassofoni. 
Vengono adottate alcune soluzioni meccaniche della Selmer per il castello e il portavoce. 

QUARTO E ULTIMO PERIODO fino al 1935, modello prodotto dalla Selmer ma con ghiere Selmer e poi persino con il fusto dalle caratteristiche simili al Cigar Cutter 
o al Super. 
 
- Chiave del F frontale, perciò soluzione meccanica perfettamente attuale! 
- Chiavi del castello sganciate come nei sassofoni SML Strasser Marigaux Lemaire, 
  per una maggiore morbidezza d'azione nelle note basse. 
- Intonazione perfetta A=440. 
- Valigia sagomata semirigida, munita di rotelle per facile trasporto.

Attenzione, se in alcune foto si vedesse lo stand per il sassofono, esso non è compreso nella vendita.
