This is a customized iPod whose original mechanical hard drive has been upgraded to 512GB of Flash Storage (about 469GB available for media storage due to formatting and system files).  Unlike normal iPods, this iPod with flash memory has no moving parts and is much more durable than a standard hard drive based iPod.  It also also uses less power so your battery lasts longer!  This player is a great workout companion.  The iPod has been completely rebuilt with almost entirely new parts.  The iPod is in like new condition with no marks or scratches.

Please note this iPod has an approximate 40,000 song limit when using the original firmware.  For those whose music collections are in lossless format, this shouldn't be an issue but those storing smaller files may reach this limit before filling up the iPod's storage capacity.  If this limit is surpassed, the iPod may fail to boot normally and you'll need to put it in disk mode to remove some songs.  There is also an approximate 30,000 song queue limit.  This means that if you plan on loading more than 30,000 songs on the iPod, you'll need to browse by artist, album, genre, etc. or create multiple playlists of no more than 30,000 files each.  Using "shuffle all" or attempting to queue up all the songs at once to your now playing list when more than 30,000 songs are synced will cause the iPod to reboot.
