The Arc’teryx Women’s Beta LT Hybrid Jacket is a waterproof, lightweight and packs down small so it won’t weigh down your load or take up too much space. The combination of Gore-Tex 3L and Gore-Tex PacLite fabric provides a durable water and windproof layer. A durable water repellent finish helps prevent soaking in by beading up water on the fabric surface. The DropHood is helmet compatible and adjustable to allow for peripheral vision, when not in use, it pushes out of the way while still allowing the collar to stand tall when fully zipped. The large pit zips open wide to release excess heat when the hard rain won’t quit in warmer temperatures. Two zippered pockets are lifted up and out of the way of your hipbelt or harness so you can still use them to store your hat or gloves. All zippers on the jacket are WaterTight, giving them a high water resistance (not suitable for electronics, but great for an extra pair of gloves).
