Vintage stoneware French ' Huile de Olive ' phrase olive oil bottle with wire bale swing top porcelain cap. Vibrant flowers and berries. Very good to excellent condition.

Measures 11 inches high by 3 1/4 inches across the bottom. There is a .75 L M.K.M stamped in the pottery near the bottom. MAX KRUGER made in Germany. The rubber washer is not included because it was deteriorated beyond use. Very heavy stoneware at over 2 pounds.

No cracks, gouges or chips on the bottle body. I find two flaws; 1.) there is a minute nick on the lowest point of the cap's inner tip and 2.) there is a raised pit (from the original firing) on the edge of the cap. Neither effect the performance of the cap.

This unique and colorful stoneware bottle is clean, bright and ready for service or display.
