Metrel MD9220 High Current Clamp Meter Details

The Metrel MD9220 is a multifunctional clamp meter that can be used absolutely everywhere from laboratory testing to carrying out repairs in industrial environments.

A true-RMS clamp testing device, the MD9220 ensures measurement accuracy on both non-sinusoidal and sinusodial signals at all times. It's also a high current clamp meter and can measure current levels up to a threshold of 2000A.

In addition to its current measurement capabilities the MD9220 is actually a digital multimeter and can be used to measure AC/DC voltage, resistance, frequency, capacitance and diode. It also includes a built-in non-contact voltage tester that enables users to detect the presence of live electrical fields by holding the MD9220 near to the suspected voltage application.
