You will be bidding on a Bestek Ford Pinto (Bosch distributor) Race Distributor & Ignition Kit.

Distributor:

The advance on this distributor is available in 3 different specifications: Fast Road (vac), Rally (non vac) or Race (short curve non vac). The distributor is a genuine Bosch unit & retains it original pick up coil for ease of replacement if you cant wait for us to do it. (i have never had to replace one yet) We supply a straight cap as the pinto engine does not suffer with clearance problems but for n/a sierra Cosworth engines we can supply a right angle version.

If you have your own advance curve you would like set into the distributor we can do that at no extra cost. A plot of your advance curve will be sent with your kit.

If you change anything on your engine at a later date we can update your curve at any time.

Amplifier:

The amplifier has a very high power output with a lifetime guarantee. This incorporates a variable dwell system to enable maximum coil charge at high revs without overheating it at a low engine speed or idle. To ensure reliability we use Bosch technology packaged under our name using a large heat sink to keep it cool at high revs. Our test machine runs these amps at 8000 rpm with a 22mm spark without missing a beat (don’t touch it as it hurts... a lot)

Coil:                              Solid state group A unit as standard now.

The coil is a specially matched electronic version to get the most from the amplifier. If you would like the ultimate for your kit we can supply a genuine
