 PRPS Brand Profile

New York-based luxury denim brand PRPS was founded in 2002 by former Nike designer, Donwan Harrell.

The PRPS name was born from the word purpose. Their jeans are created with African cotton using Japanese expertise in military uniform, workwear and hunting apparel, meaning the denim is very rugged and robust. In addition to this, enthusiasts regard the distressing and aging process with the utmost importance and some of the PRPS styles are put through a very aggressive aging process. The end results are as natural and authentic as possible as every stain, nick and abrasion is painstakingly produced by hand, to replicate real wear and age.

Some of distinguishing features of PRPS jeans include a folded back pocket, the purple tab on the back pocket, different coloured buttons on the fly, purple line selvage and branded buttons and rivets.
