WW1 U.S. M1912 Colt .45 Swivel Holster

Condition: Excellent, with the holster containing expected wear on the leather from regular use, including small scuff marks, crackling, and light scratches throughout the leather. The holster is free from damage, though, with no cuts to the leather, all of the stitching is still 100% undamaged, and the holster still has the original leg strap and swivel piece, which were commonly replaced on the M1912 model holsters. Overall, the holster is in above average condition for it's age!

This holster is the M1912 model swivel holster, featuring the leather loops on the back for the leg strap and a drain hole on the bottom back instead of bottom front. These two features distinguish it from the much more common M1916 swivel holster. This holster would have been issued to an officer or mounted soldier in the army or USMC prior to WW1. The holster is for the Colt Model 1911 A1.45 pistol, and is unmarked but was manufactured between 1912 and 1916. These M1912 holsters are fairly difficult to find, especially in this condition, so don't miss out on this one!!!
