This device is an effective way to rid your garden of uninvited animal visitors. It combines a sophisticated PIR detection system that detects movement and triggers short bursts of powerful ultrasonic sound waves with a flashing strobe light.

Please Note:

During our testing we found the majority of animals were startled by this deterrent and the effect was instant but an isolated few animals (mainly old) were found to have reduced hearing. We must warn that Ultra Sonic deterrent relies on the animal in question to have a good range of high tone hearing for this product to be fully effective.

OPERATION

When an animal enters the detection area covered by the repeller the PIR sensor will light up Red and a strong unpleasant ultrasonic sound that is only audible to animals is emitted ( The Red PIR light is also a visual check to test if that your product is working)

WHERE TO PLACE THE DEVICE

Install the pest repeller to the desired location in such a way the device faces the area that you wish to be protected. You can either fix it in the ground using one or both parts of the spike stake with the unit or the back of the device has a hanging hole, you can mount the device on a wall or fence if required.

Warning: Do not push the stake in to the ground using the plastic repeller as a handle. Push the stake in to the ground first then place the device on top.

SETTINGS

Button “SENS” (Left): Is for adjusting sensitivity and distance. By turning the knob clockwise, you increase the range of protection. To repel small animals, turn the knob up to the right.

Button “FREQ” (Right): Frequency control. By turning the knob clockwise, you increase the frequency.

When setting the Frequency you must always turn the frequency to the off position first then to the desired frequency setting. Flashing LED modes are only available on frequencies 4 & 5.

Button “FREQ” Position:

1: 13.5 kHz- 17.5 kHz repels animals such as mice & small rodents

2: 15.5 kHz- 19.5 kHz repels animals such as large dogs& foxes

3: 19.5 kHz- 23.5 kHz repels animals such as small dog& , cats

4: Strong Flashing

5: This will cycle through all the frequencies from mode 1—mode 2—mode 3, and turns on the LED flashing light. This will ensure the animals do not get use to the device.
